The Golden Rule of Training Design - The 90/20/8 rule
A training session should have a break after 90 minutes, to make sure your participants remain focused and can absorb the amount of information they need to.
You should split your training into 20-minute sections, each section having a different style than the previous. This is to have diversification and to make sure the information is presented into manageable sections.
You should involve the participants every 8 minutes, to ensure interactivity and to keep the session interesting.
